Star Trek Star Trek PG-13
Quite possibly one of the few PERFECT movies in existence. The movie has the perfect mix of stuff for the old TREK fans and people who know almost nothing about STAR TREK at all, so everyone is able to enjoy it.
Pine and Quinto were a perfect match to work side by side as Kirk and Spock and worked perfect with each other and bring refreshingly young faces to the franchise.
The casting of Cho and Pegg is shear brilliance and gave the movie great laughs and action moments.
Urban channels DeForrest Kelly's McCoy, containing all the old character elements while still making it his own thing.
Nimoy fit into the old shoes of Spock perfectly and is probably better at it now then he was before.
The only person I would have preferred to not be in the movie was Tyler Perry. I'm sorry, but the guy who dresses up as Madea should not have been allowed anywhere near this film.
The story is amazing and the twists they've added will let them take the sequls anywhere they want too and promises to be AWESOME! Also I'm glad they didn't go the whole dark-background story that prequels seem to be doing lately. It proves a film can still be fun and exciting. The movie is full of the emotional intensity that I expected from something from J.J. Abrams, having been a fan of his since LOST. He did a great job with reviving STAR TREK to make it something cool once again and something everyone can enjoy and watch. Not just the guys in their mom's basement (are there any of them really living there? It has yet to be proven), but for everyone who wants to boldly go where no man has gone before and get blown away by an amazing movie. The only thing that would have made it better was if there had been Tribbles.

"I encourage it."
"Are you out of your Vulcan mind?"

A good, well crafted thriller that pulls you in and holds onto you till the end of the movie.
A great cast, with good performances from Cussack, Molina, Peet, McGinley, and the rest.
Interesting story, I did find parts of this predictable, but not in a bad way. Just when you think you know what is going to happen, the movie throws something new at you and comes up with a good ending. I think this movie got overlooked when it first came out, because I can't even remember hearing about it. It's well worth a watch and has some good entertainment value. Don't expect twists on the level of M. Night, but a good mix of an interesting story and good characters.

"Maybe it's the burial ground."
"What?"
"Read the brochure in there... it's all around us. 100 years ago the government moved these Indians here. They all died because there was no water."
"And now they're coming back to life like sea monkeys, huh? Give me a break sweetheart, please."

King Kong King Kong PG-13
Once again Jackson has given us another film loaded witha great story and characters. Still if you don't like long movies then you probably won't fine this one entrancing enough, but it's still action packed right when it starts slowing down. Amazing special effects and the T-Rex scene is amazing!
The Breakfast Club The Breakfast Club R
This is one of my favorite and one of the perfect movies. It's funny, has a lot of heart, great acting, cool story, everything! It's just a great movie. Acting is wondeful by Nelson, Gleeson, and Sheedy, everyone else isgood too, their just not my favorite characters. The scene where their all sitting in a circle and talking about everything and yet nothing is the best. Everyone captures their characters so well at those moments and you see what amazing acting they all have. John Hughs story and direction are perfect and thisstands as being his best film in my opinoin. This is just a movie that I'm able to watch over and over again and highly recommend it to everyone. "Well, well. Here we are. You have exactly eight hours and fifty-four minutes to think about why you're here. You may not talk, you will not move from these seats. Any questions?" "Yeah. Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?"
