Beautifully imaginative and amazingly unique, Gilliam has one of the most creative minds in film making. Ledgers performance was enchanting and the trio (Depp, Farrell and Law) who become him in the imaginarium gave performances so strong I truly believed they were the same character with a different face. Lily Cole gives a stunning performance as Valentina despite her very limited experience and surely has a promising career ahead of her. Lets not forget Christopher Plummer who held the films together with his eclectic performance as Doctor Parnassus. For a film that suffered so much bad luck, it was worth all the effort of Gilliam and others getting The Imaginarium back on its feet.

Beautifully shot, acted, and with amazing costuming. The Duchess is clearly another example that Keira Knightly was born to do period dramas. The storyline is what really held the film together and kept me glued to the screen, it's just a shame that it was so heartbreaking.

Originally I was disappointed in this movie until I watched it without comparing it to the games. Since then it has become one of my favorites.
