Left field under sells this bizarre but sweet love story. Open your mind to the strangeness and gradually it starts to make sense - sort of. Beautiful imagery helps you along. Challenging but rewarding if you persevere.

Homage to old school horror from Raimi which starts promisingly but descends into mumbo jumbo. Nice set pieces and stirling work from Lohman can't hide a plot twist so obvious it might as well have been written large across the screen. Missed opportunity.

My favourite movie of all time - heart wrenching drama made with real intelligence. Best movie music as well by Mike Oldfield

Consistently funny throughout which raises it above the other Monty Pythons. Stunning script, faultlessly executed. Overflowing with quotable lines.
