Never Gets old- Beware the Moon!

This stylish horror hit the cinamas during 1980's where it scared viewers all over the country, now 28 years on the film still lives on and has lost none of it's talents.Although the film may look toned down compared to the horror films of today it still kept alive through it's funny dialogue and brilliant story, it is clear that John Landis put alot of thought into the Movie
Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant PG-13
Despite it's dcritism about taking a different approach the Cirque Du Freak : The Vampies Assistant is a delightfully funny yet dark tale that tells the saga of Darren Shan in a different manner. Using the books as a basic pillow to fall on the film is developed and composed beautifully. It also has a brilliant soundtrack which compliments the film and adds more depth to the story, With actors such as Chris Massagolia, John,C Rielly , Josh Hutcherson and actresses as talented as Salma Hayek it's certain that there is talent in numbers within the film. Many of the public critised the selection of John c reilly as Larten Crepsley, but after seeing the film it is apparent that he pulls the role off by having to serious one time and being funny the next.
The film should not be critised because of it's difference the books instead it should be celebrated, it is a marvelous masterpeice to add to the book series and it is clear Paul Weitz has composed and directed the film with all the best intentions in mind. Whether it has been set out to compete with the Twilight Saga I do not know but the film stamps all over the twilight series and if given the chance the series has potential to excell. Developed with witt and Human with a dark setting added in the film really does bring to life the world of Darren Shan's books, it gets a deserved 5 star rating and perhaps critics should stop viewing it with the book series in mind and start seeing it for what it really is ... A Masterpeice ....
