A 3-parter here, originally made for television. Each story captures the essence of Tomie and shows her destructive ways. Due to their short length, it never feels like any of them are a complete story and they also cover the same ground. It's still a good watch and keeps the eer...( read more)ie atmosphere, even if it is made for TV. The developments in Tomie are slight, but cover the ability to multiply, resurrect and possess.

Director Toshiro Inomata films a three tale tour of the iniquitous "Bakemono" starring Runa Nagai as the girl who won't die...Tomie.

Synopsis: In the first tale, a girl name Miki willingly attempts to talk with her X-boyfriend Takashi whom is disheartened over a sudden break ...( read more)up with Tomie. However, the dead girl walking makes a return to steal him away from her.

In the second tale, Mr. Mori - a photographer - finds a woman that fits well in his picture world and obsessively shoots her with his camera only to find out that she is more then what he expected.

And the final episode, Mr. Yasuda is madly in love with his girlfriend...Tomie. After asking for her hand in marriage, she gives him a difficult test that he must past in order for her to be his bride.

This film was cut into three parts with a cinematic quality fit for television, but quite enjoyable with some entertaining Tomie stories. Runa Nagai gives the character something exceptional without putting to much effort into it, and the sound, SFX etc. was of good quality.
