Had quite big expectations of this film and although it was and enjoyable film, it doesn?t bring anything new to Asian Horror or the Horror genre in general.
I also have the remake and it?ll be interesting to compare the two, once I have watched.

A swing and a miss! Completely derivative horse shit. Cool ending, though, and surprisingly solid performances. Too bad it isn't scary, relying heavily on audio cues (some of which are shockingly misused) and falling back on the old, now unscary Asian girl ghost crutch. Shutter i...( read more)

Best watched at night with the lights down to get the full effect. There are images here that can SCARE even the most hardened of viewers. Too bad the story is totally ludicrous and unoriginal, otherwise this would have been a great horror movie.

Wonderfully shot horror film whose atmosphere far exceeds the film itself. Again it's an Asian horror film that focusses around an investigation, a dead girl and many twists. The first problem comes from the initial hit and run incident. Neither person seems that bothered after h...( read more)

pretty good asian ghost flick. the story is revealed slowly but told well. the ghost looks quite freaky and the main actors play their roles strongly, especially the guy. definitely worth a watch!

This isn't a bad supernatural thriller. Some scares here and there. Otherwise, pretty predictable and a similar plot to most other horrors.

Every time my girlfriend runs over somebody on a lonely stretch of highway she always starts in with the whining! "We should have checked the body! We shouldn't have just driven away! Boo-hoo I feel so guilty".
Of course the person always ends up haunting us, turning out to be c...( read more)

February 5, 2008Personally, I think they should continue to remake asian ghost stories, bc quite frankly, many of them are damn good, tho quite often, they are not as good as the originals. That doesn't mean that they should stop making them. What it might mean is that Hollywood should pull its head out of its ass and make them better!

May 16, 2007Let me start by saying is a rip off of few Asian ghost films from the pale girl crawling in bed,the bathtub scene & the hallway scenes when the ghost always shows up to creep out someone,Etc....Slow in parts & rely in a good score to create a creepy mood but then not that much happens & at times glimpses of the ghost in different forms.Watching this film was like looking at another sequel for The Grudge.
US should stop remaking these same Ghost Asian Films, nothing original can be expected.Otherwise gonna add more to the line-up of bad PG-13 horror remakes from Pulse,Dark Waters & The Grudge.

February 2, 2007I have seen this movies many times and thought it's one of the good ghost stories, reasonable and continually want to know what will happen next or how was the relationship between each character. Like other Asian ghost movies the belief in the lives after death.
