It almosts like the original 1932 version but better. It has heart, supercharged excitement, & enough visual effects to make it extremely watchable.
the special effects in this movie are good! but they make it look like the lady and the monkey are about to make-out!ahhh. yeah 4 adrien brody!
It was far too long. Jackson let success go to his head I feel. It is pretty audacious remaking a classic like King Kong, and although I wasn't against the idea, I feel his ego was the real monster here. Also, unfinished and pointless subplots frustrate me.
Way better than I thought it would be...plus it was french class so that meant doing no work.
