There Will Be Blood (2007, R)
Best film of the 21st century with the best performance as well. PTA proved his versatility with this film mixing elements of Kane, Sierra Madre, and a little bit of a horror film feel to it to. But it's its own movie at the same time, not taking anything from any other film or piece of artistry. A complete original. I haven't seen very many films like it. |
