Christian Charles Philip Bale (also known professionally as Christian Morgan Bale) is a Welsh-born British actor. He is best known for his roles in American Psycho (2000), Empire of the Sun (1987), and Batman Begins (2005). Bale is also known for his versatility as an actor, including mimicking accents, harsh regimens of shedding and gaining weight (particularly for The Machinist (2004), Batman Begins, and, most recently, Rescue Dawn (2006)), and generally inhabiting the characters he plays. Before he found success in playing Batman, he was heavily involved in independent film.
In 2008, he played Batman for the second time, re-teaming with his Batman Begins and The Prestige director Christopher Nolan, in The Dark Knight. The film became a huge hit, critically and financially. He finished shooting Public Enemies (2009), co-starring Johnny Depp, were he plays Melvin Puris who attemps to take down the notorious gangster John Dillinger. Bale is currently filming Terminator Salvation (2009), the fourth Terminator film set in the future.
Bale was also the lead star in the musical, The Newsies. It's a broadway feature.

How come us fans, are always in the background? When we are the people who made him famous in the first place!!
It annoys me, when we get a site that says, maybe he will read it, maybe he will answer! Oh lets just sit back & hope he reconizes us mortal fans. Christian has got where he is,through hard work, start at the bottom, get to the top! But without the fans, lovin him, he wouldnt be a top star, top bloke, whatever!! I am going to watch the premier of terminator:the salvation on wed, wouldnt it be nice if he sent an e-mail to all us fans in flixter, and said "Thankyou guys for taking time out in your lives to come & watch my latest movie"! This is the first time I have been on your fan-driven page & woz so sad to think that Mr film star hasnt got time to recognize us fans!
